It's a different kind of carving that does not require making holes in the pumpkin.
The amount of craftsmanship you've put in it is something else in this beauty.
I have seen a couple other pumpkins carved in the same fashion so I wanted to try it. I never really thought of treating the gourd like wood or clay before. I think over all it was a sucess. I will be doing this next year.
